My baby was born with teeth...
Callie is 6days old and her dr said she'd have to pull them out... im very nervous beacause idont want my baby to go through any pain... can somebody tell me how this happens and if they use anything to numb her mouth...
Why do they have to be pulled? I would suggest you get another opinion. Doctors are not perfect.

my aunt was born with 2 teeth that were really crooked, one was completely sideways. she didnt get them pulled and her permanent teeth came in perfect (straight and very white - i only mention the white because it makes this coffee loving mom a tad jealous!). i would definitely get a second opinion like avitoria said. good luck!
Not sure if the baby experiences any pain, but this happened with my neice and they did use a numbing agent before pulling the teeth. I know after the procedure my neice was fine, no side effects, and she has been happy and healthy ever since.
This happens for the same reason that some children are born with more hair on their head or thicker nails on their fingers. It was just a premature development, however its an underdeveloped one at that. You are going to want to have them pull the teeth, because they are very brittle and the nerves connected to them are underdeveloped as well. Your child shouldn't experience any pain when they are pulled. If you don't have them pulled, your child could choke on them when (and they will fall out within weeks to just a few months) they are awake or asleep and could be life threatening. It also helps with breastfeeding. So I advise that you have them pulled, this is the normal protocal. Their adult teeth should be fine in the future as well, as this shouldn't effect the growth of those.
